British Columbia has listed an entrepreneur immigration invitation round held on 20 October 2026 under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), targeting entrepreneurs interested in establishing or operating eligible businesses in the province.
Key Details of the BC PNP Entrepreneur Draw
Base stream: 10 invitations issued, with a minimum score of 118.
Regional stream: Fewer than 5 invitations issued, with a minimum score of 118.
Who may be affected: Entrepreneurs seeking business immigration opportunities in British Columbia.
Important distinction: This was a provincial entrepreneur selection round, not a federal Express Entry draw.
Upcoming Express Entry CRS Changes — 3 November 2026
Separately, Canada’s planned Express Entry CRS changes are scheduled to take effect on 3 November 2026.
Eligible candidates may receive additional CRS points for qualifying high-wage Canadian work experience or high-wage job offers. Candidates who qualify under both categories cannot combine the awards; the higher applicable award will apply.
These federal CRS changes are separate from the BC PNP entrepreneur draw and concern eligible Express Entry candidates.
CANADA IMMIGRATION PROFILE ASSESSMENT
If you are considering study, employer sponsorship or skilled migration to Canada, your occupation, experience, visa pathway, location and family circumstances can all affect the available options.
